i wasn't really liking the bootanimation so i switched to this one

I don't have either of the problems I put in bold above. My performance options save just fine, and are restored after reboot, and my phone enters vibrate mode with volume rockers and with the button in the notification drawer every time. I would try to do unbrick method, go back to stock, then reroot, reflash cm10, and reinstall clean. That is of course unless you don't care about these issues

That's what i was thinking of doing, I installed this over the paranoid port so who knows what could have happened. I just wanted to know if anyone else was having the issues you put in bold because the rest is old bugs but those popped out of no where. I'll report back to see if a clean install fixes this.

Did a clean install, volume slider works perfect now, i haven't had any backlight issue, and everything seems to be working perfectly now.
My only issue is that when I set a CPU and governor in Performance setting what i chose doesn't stick after reboot and over time.
Any one else having this issue?

would love to run this or any other cm10 build, but cm10 hates me I have the backlight issue along with having to press the power button several times to turn the screen back on. I did however install this just to see how it looks, but will be restoring my backup.

Turn off gps unless you need it

If you turn off gps satellite
but leave on wifi\mobile network location
Its a close enough location lock to search nearby or weather
when you need to navigate turn satellite back on

restoring /data causes backlight issue on mine but if i install fresh and download all my apps i don't get backlight issue. sometime format /sdcard in recovery 6.0.2.7 gets rid of backlight issue when it comes back after use for awhile on bobz rom but it formats internal sd which is where your pictures and music folders are.

Where did you find the setting for app drawer to change background opacity and wallpaper

Also i cant find the settings portion for home screen etc...
