Another option is to go into CMW and go to mounts and then too mount USB. I often use this as it seams less glitchy.
I noticed this also, but was only for first time then it would adjust volume correctly(but not show the volume control just hear it). But if you did that for the first time after a restart with the screen off it would reset. (still wish i could get ride of volume rocker to turn on the screen, I have tried the setting in buildprob to do that and it doesnt seams to work). But all I do it start it and just do it once after the screen is on and get the FC then doesnt seam to FC or reset even with turning the screen on with volume rocker.
Tough crowd in here tonight. Many of the force closes can be resolved by pushing the original 'com.htc.resources.apk' back to your device. then reboot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, then reboot.
For those that don't know.....
1. download file and move to your 'c:\' directory on your computer
2. go into command prompt
3. type the following commands
cd c:\
adb shell
mount -o remount rw /system (then press <ctrl-c> )
adb push com.htc.resources.apk /system/framework/
make sure you put a space after apk in the above line and Don't leave off the slash at the end
then reboot into recovery , do your wipes and reboot

hey, i really appreciate you inviting me personally to be a boost tester for this rom you're working on, however i'm simply only declining due to the fact that im having some issues with the phone itself. No more custom roms for me til i get this issue resolved.
However i must congratulate you on your progress, also might i suggest a different settings app with 4g already integrated with update prl, profile. but you may be able to edit / copy paste some files from within the sense one, or another settings app to make this one be able to do that. that is one major thing that i didn't like about my original testing, also keep pushing for that aosp settings menu instead of the sense one. I wish you the best

How about posting the link since it has kanged stuff from my rom without my permission? As I know the other one has my stuff in it, where I am guessing based on the multi-carrier support this has more of it. I also believe that my stuff has a special note for kangers that wasn't applied to this stuff. Where I don't recall getting a pm or being told anything from any team member.
Either way I don't know which way this hybrid started. If it is themed or actual aosp apps added. Where if it is the 2nd it will in all honesty be a waste trying to do. As it will bork one thing or another any way you go about it. Being you are having a usb issue I assume you replaced with aosp stuff. Where I know where the cause to it is but curious where you got these aosp files from.
Another thing is you have this titled as a rom with no physical links to a rom. A few other pointers is decreasing the rom size will not amount to one gain. Any gains seen is from removing the htc apps which run in the background. You will not gain any amount of free memory with out redoing the partitions. Where system is 7xxmb if I recall correctly, if you are gaining free space on data it would be due to the reduced number of installed apps if this is deodex. If it is odex you gain a thing really.
