I used to be able to download .apk files with no problem at all. Now, for some reason, if I click on the file, I get a:

"The content is not supported on the phone. No application can be found to open this file. Do you sill want to download it?" message.

If i click yes, it downloads a .bin file, which I have no idea what to do with it. Can anyone help me with this?? This never used to happen before.

OK. Yeah ive had this happen before too. Are you trying to download it using your browser? If so maybe try a different browser or even try to save it to a PC. What kind of file association does it say it is then? Maybe its just a bad download link?

Yes, I was using the default browser on the Incredible. I used to be able to do it all the time. Never had an issue. I just tried doing it from my Mac while connected to it and no good either. Regarding "association", It just gets downloaded to the "download" folder as a ".bin"....When i try to go into it from Astro or something, it does nothing. I don't understand what changed and why?? :(

Had another thought. Have you recently changed your "user agent"? Or at least that's what Dolphin calls it. I wonder if it were changed from Android to Windows if this would occur since it's not a typical Windows file extention. Just a guess.

Is this happening with just this one file or multiple files from various sites?
