Root App Names?

I want to remove some apps but their names are not evident. The apps I want to remove are;

Backup assistant
Socialite
ThinkFree office

Any ideas?

not 100% on backup assistant, maybe someone else will chime in

If you use the app Titanium Backup to remove the apps, each of those apps would show up in the app list and you would know what they were. I've done it myself! For example, running TB right now, I see ThinkFree Office 2.0.0527.01 in the app list and it can be uninstalled.

Thanks ALL!

But how come my available space doesn't increase?

They're in the /system partition which you don't usually have access to... It's like going into a locked closet and throwing things away. Your living room is still crowded.

HOWEVER you can move some of your apps from /data/app to /system/app if you're sure you want to keep them (they won't uninstall the "normal" way after that). You'll have to repeat every update because system app updates are handled by keeping the updated apk in /data/app again.
