Does anyone knows how to remove sprint apps like NFL and NASCAR? I heard that all you need is to root phone. please advise

Root - Custom Rom - Titanium Backup - Short touch on the app - remove.

Again ....CAUTION some apps will mess up the phone if removed.
 
Not Sure - I couldn't get Titanium Backup to run correctly on Stock Rom -
Feel Free to Try -

NFX - is basically the 2.1update 1 with Patch - If you love stock - I HIGHLY recomend it - Smooth and fast.
 
patience on the rebooting with the new Rom - it can take 5-10 min on the HTC screen and on the NOW screen.
 
Is there not a list out there somewhere that just shows the programs that are safe to remove? I'm interested in just deleting bloatware right now, not flashing an actual rom yet. I'm still researching the different roms.

As stated above - I couldn't get titanium backup to work properly on the stock ROM.
(probably user error though) So I flashed NFX - Worked Perfectly.
 
Odex boots faster, but in daily use, there is no significant difference. Deodex allows for custom themes, which are hard to do on odex.

Go to backup/restore, long press on nascar and nfl and uninstall the apk.

:eek:Again, DELETING a wrong apk can create serious troubles, so make sure you only delete the ones you know
 
Is there a list of all the apps that can be delet it without demaging the phone? Also can I move apps from the internal memory to the SD card?

Which rom are you running?

If CM6/2.2/Froyo, then moving apps 2 sd is native. Meaning you will NOT have to partition your sd card.

If NFX, Zen roms, Fresh 2.1/Eclair, you WILL have to partition your sd card.

As far as which apps you can delete? Most developers will have in depth information on which apks you can delete. Don't have a link right now, but here is just a few. Sprint TV, Sprint Nav, NFL, MP3...

Things like the stock messaging app, GTalk... DO NOT DELETE

I found the list of the ones that are safe to delet. Thanks

I have never partitioned my sd card, as I'm running Froyo. Wish I could help more but maybe do a search here or on xda and I know you will find an answer.

Have you tried AOSP's new ROM - Seems 10/10 update says it is 2.2 based????

AOSP2.21 (froyo)
Looks slick
