Ok I finally flashed my very first ROM, and boy am I ever wondering what the hell took me so long??? Screw blur, this device is SOOO much slicker, smoother, faster, peepier, zoomier, shroomier.... everythingier!
My only frustration is getting my apps back into the app drawer. I had done a complete back-up on Titanium Back Up just before flashing. I had also just done a complete Nandroid, and resynched all my apps with AppBrain. After flashing the ROM (I formatted cache and data just before the flash) I punched in my google username, the phone booted up, and I had 12 apps in the app drawer. Logged into AppBrain on my computer and it shows I have 162 apps. So on my phone I hit the sync button, and all it did was create a new profile on the computer (thank God it didn't replace my old one). So now on the computer I have the profile showing 162 apps, and another showing 12. But I thought I was supposed to be able to pull the ones from the cloud back to my phone... how do I do this?
On my computer is says 'push mode enabled'... but I don't see anything anywhere that allows me to push anything to my phone. If anyone can help me figure out how to put all of these apps back onto my phone I would greatly appreciate it and would probably go as far as hitting the 'thanks' button on your screen (hows that for incentive eh).
Oh and no need in recommending me use Titanium Back Up. I can't get it to work either. It shows all of my missing apps right there in the program, but when I try to restore them nothing at all happens. Rather disappointing I must say.
