Help Application Update issue- How to do it?

OK.... My phone is telling me I have 21 updates available. How do I make the updates?...lol. It does not tell me what needs to be updated and the only option I see is to clear the notification.

open market, press menu, my apps, press update at the top left.

when you press that notification in the notification bar it should take you to the market as well...press update
