Help Apps not compatible with Galaxy Nexus

how do you tell the developers which apps don't work with your phone?

I tried "going to the marketplace" but don't see any "report" or anything to tell them xyz app isn't working with my phone?

PM me if you wish.

In the market at the bottom of the apps page is a link to email the developer.

groupon doesnt work either

Really? Works fine for me - I had it on my i897 (running CM-7.1) . When I attached my google a count to my new i9250 (gsm version), groupon was one of the apps that installed automagically. I've been able to view my groupons and buy new ones, although I've not tried to redeem one yet.

I had to download shazam from Amazon but it works fine...no idea why it wasnt showing up in the market.

Handcent wont send MMS messages and I have also had the sending texts to the wrong contacts issue so i may need to retire it until there is an update

Executive Assistant wont sync with the calendar

NFL Mobile has been mentioned but still no update

My fart apps and light saber apps.....nah, just kidding

Still no reliable email using Exchange Activesync

Even though others have gotten Touchdown to work, it's a no go for me.

Using Mailstreet hosted email exchange.

The last 2-3 days of the inbox, just aren't there.

all car home apps don't work properly. They don't keep the screen on while playing music or using the phone. Car Home isn't compatable, so none of the others are at this time.

ATT Uverse doesn't work with ICS either.

yellow book
UG (it's an MMA forum type app)
Auto WIFI Toggle

i found these don't work. Or work 100% (small text, half page, etc)

cardio trainer is borked with nexus. it installs fine, but if you basically look at it it will force close

also, the official twitter app seems to be missing the widgets that were available for froyo/gingerbread. no widgets to speak of when i distinctly remember a small and large widget previously

Anyone able to get Touchdown to work for hosted Exchange emails?

Not working for me.

Mixed. At first I could get email but no contacts, tasks or calendar. Now for some reason it's the opposite....I have contacts, tasks and calendar but no email! I can't figure out what changed but something is clearly up as my settings are identical to what I use on my original Droid and on the Galaxy Tab.

Not sure if this is ICS related or not. Astro file manager won't display the scrollable icons at the top in file manager. Any Ideas? I am rooted running Fabolous rom. Don't think this is why though.

I was able to get touchdown to run by dumping it from my phone, then reinstalling it, so it got the new version that supports viewing in a particular mode.

On setup, I deselected the two checkboxes for ActiveSync and Exchange 2007.

The only option I selected was Exchange 2003, which is what my server is.

It went through without asking for certificates, and I can send and receive with Touchdown.

That's my short term workaround until they fix it.

Here's the code forum I subsribed to, to follow the comings and goings.

Issue 22975 - android - Ice Cream Sandwich (Galaxy Nexus) - Native exchange problems - Android - An Open Handset Alliance Project - Google Project Hosting

I'm reading on the forums about people with regular phones, starting to run 4.0 having the same issues, so I've been trying to tell the IT guys, this will get MUCH WORSE, once 20 million phones have 4.0.x instead of the 100,000 phones that are Nexus.

works fine for me...not rooted tho

as someone else mentioned Plants vs. zombies freezes after a few moments. Another Popcap game Chuzzles does run but image is small and different aspects of the display are misaligned. Another game from a different developer called Farm Frenzy has the same issues as Chuzzles.

Does anyone know of a good app to clear apps' caches? I used to use History Eraser but that doesn't work. I also tried 1-click cleaner. It doesn't work either. Maybe Google change the API in ICS, causing it to no longer work?

Oh, forgot one thing... I'm not rooted.
