Help Apps "uninstalling" when moved to SD on 2.3

Is anyone else having this issue on GB? When I move an app to the SD card, my phone thinks I've uninstalled the app after a restart. They still appear in the application list, but the name changes to "com.android.appname" format and the icon is a gray Android w/ SD Card graphic. If I try to move the apps back to the phone, I get a "App Not Installed" error message.

It's happening on both the rooted version of the pulled official 2.3 update and also with the Liberation Enhanced v2.0 Beta 6 ROM (which makes sense since its based off the official).

Do I need to wipe/reformat my SD card to cooperate with this feature in GB?

Not sure if the reformat will help but its worth a try. There have been several threads here and elsewhere about this issue. I know one person tried the reformat and it didn't seem to help. I was hoping they'd fix it on the OTA.

Thanks for reply. I did search for the issue but nothing came up for me... My Google-fu must be broken today.

Same problem here: Android 2.2 on Droid Incredible with OTA upgrade to 2.3.

Subsequent move apps to SD card--seemed to be successful.

Subsequently, apps spontaneously uninstalled themselves.

(Multiple apps, including Amazon Kindle, Vignette, and many more.)
