Root **Apps you should NEVER delete from your spirit.**

Just a small warning, avoid deleting Google Play Books (BooksTablet.apk), Google Play Magazines (Magazines.apk,) and especially Google Play Movies & TV (videos.apk).

Deleting these files will brick your device. Just a tip. ;)

Instead of deleting this, you can disable it, which is nearly the same as deleting it. Just follow this guide on how to :

For the unsafe apps to un-install you can do this with the stock app manager....

---List of apps I have disabled or un-installed.
---Click on menu then app settings - all
---(d)disabled______(u)un-installed

facebook - d
google play books - d
google play magazine - d
google play movies & TV - d
google play music - d
google+ - d
maps - d
metro block it - d
yahoo movies - d
yahoo sportacular - d
street view - d
total protection - d
twitter - d
weather - d
metro studio - u
metro 411 - u
my extras - u
pocket express - u
lg smart world - u

There are still more stock apps that can be disabled or un-installed. These are just the ones I did. You can get rid of most of them, with the exception of 2 or 3 apps.
 
I actually tried LGSmartWorld, you know what it is? It's another app store and there are apps in there that you cannot find on Google Play *cough*youtube downloader*cough*.
 
My phone's drivers won't install when i plug it in, why is that, i tried to update driver in the properties too it won't work. is it my computer?

Download the LG drivers and manually install on your computer. That's what I had to do.

I've learned alot going from the Esteem to the Spirit since I never owned a Motion... like what NOT to delete since the Esteem never had these files. It's a different animal for sure.

Like you, I'm learning. I'm coming from the Optimus M+; going from a 3G phone with Gingerbread to a 4G with ICS. I'm reading, reading, reading. Also learning from those of you who have deleted something they shouldn't have. :D
