Root Apps2SD in 2.2

Has anyone else noticed that in the FroYo ROMS, the entire app is not stored on the SD card? If I click on the SD card tab under 'manage applications' and look at a certain app (Astro, eg.), it only shows that 1.5mb is stored on the SD card. I know for certain that Astro is around 3.5mb. I've experienced this with every FroYo ROM I've had.

Yeah, I've encountered this as well. It's as if it doesn't entirely copy everything over. What's even more curious is that after moving my apps to SD, they seem to disappear from the app list. I've tried several configurations with no success - ext 2 SD partitions, deleting the partition and wiping...after using that move to SD feature, even though its still taking up space on my phone, the market doesn't track the moved apps either.

I've just resorted to limiting my apps until someone makes a fix or I stumble across a solution to the space issue.
