Apps2SD on AOSP 9.9.2

Just re-rooted my phone from stock with zroot, ROM Manager, and installed AOSP 9.9.2. I'm still playing around with and installed laucnhers and trying to get a feel for system coming from Aloysious 2.0.9.

The $1,000,000 is how do i use the app2sd function? When i go to settings<applications<manage applications, and click on an app, the Move to SD Card isnt highlighted. What can or what i need to do?

As far as I understand, not every app allows for app2sd to work. Some of them won't be highlighted because they don't want you backing the app up for whatever reason. Keep trying with other apps, most should allow you to move them.

+1

Not every application will move to the sd card

I moved everything Asop would do first, maybe only 15% of what I wanted to. Then I used Titanium Backup and it let me move a bunch more.

The best answer I have found so far is that the app developer has to enable apps2sd when they build it. Some devs didn't realize they had to, others haven't released new apps since Froyo was released. Can't say for sure, but it sounded good enough for me to buy it. :-D
