april 28, $300

It's really not a horrible phone. Slightly better than the ThunderBolt actually. The processor is probably more powerful, we just need custom ROMs that get rid of that horrible filesystem Samsung is using.

They should both be the same price though, in my opinion. The Charge is better, but not $50 better.

Design: +1, it doesn't look like a large iPhone3Gs
Screen: +1, SAMOLED plus over SLCD any day, my wife's Fascinate is a beautiful phone
Battery: +1, I work in NYC, so 4G will be used all the time when I'm not on wifi at work, so that is important to me
Processor: virtual tie

1080p recording...DNLA setup (I have a Sammy plasma at home that will connect right up with it....

this will hold me until the S2 hits VZW...I'm coming from an Incredible, so it is time to move on to Touch Wiz...custom roms will help as they do with all phone, it's unlocked, so that's a plus...

the Fascinate is a fast phone in it's own right, as long as the Charge doesn't have the lag the Fascinate had, it will be plenty fast...4G is going to set it apart...
so it's a little hefty...until the GS2 hits...and we haven't seen that one with an LTE radio in it (the European model is under 9mm thick though), all LTE phones will be thick...

I will say you have alot of valid points! However, if it was $199 it would have a better shot.

Well yeah, if it were FREE it'd have an even better shot. Just because it's $300, don't count it out just yet. Is it overpriced? Yeah, but if the ThunderBolt is worth $250 (not saying it necessarily is), then the Charge is worth at least that much.

Note that the iPhone 4 32GB is $300 as well. The only thing that makes it special is the 32GB of memory, and this phone has that (technically 32GB MicroSD + 2GB internal = 34GB). Nobody has a problem with that. Android phones are supposed to be competitively priced, but there are only two LTE phones out right now.

By the way, the Galaxy S II got a 9/10 on Engadget, which is overwhelmingly positive and pretty much nothing ever gets a 10/10. That's one phone I can't wait to see. Dual-core Exynos, 4.3" SAMOLED+, and hopefully it'll stay just as thin with an LTE radio in it.

2GB and 32GB make a lot more sense at $300.
