I never really have any issue with ads what so ever. Things load plenty fast for me. Plus the sights gotta get payed for some how.

).I see there is a "premium" choice here. Does that remain voluntary or are we expected to do that after so much time here?

Rob (the site owner) has now informed us that our initial implementation of skimwords had a few bugs, which came to light once it was turned on. Most importantly, they were intended to only show up for guests; anyone logged into an account (be it premium/non-premium) should not be seeing them. I never saw them myself, as for whatever reason not everyone did, but several of the mods who were effected have said they are now gone.
Thanks for bearing with us.

So skimwords/adwords show up for guests that are redirected to the site from search engines or something? It would be nice to know the situation with these. A update note would be a good thing if one is not planned already.![]()

It would be cool if there was a way for someone to opt out of their posts, even from the distant past, having ad words in them. A buried setting, or a premium member clause or something.

They only seem to get underlined on Firefox, not chrome. The hover text is on both browsers.
