Root are there any new sweet sense roms?

I've been using CM7 for a few months and I'm looking for a new sense ROM, preferably one that doesn't require me to partition my sd card.

Most of the new ones do not require partitioning BUT you will not have much space left in your phone memory as they are larger than the 2.3.3 release because most have Sense 2.1 or 3.0 in them. In my opinion, partitioning even the stock card is a huge improvement over just the included memory in our phones. It is a simple process, just takes a bit of time to copy your sdcard back and forth so you don't lose anything.

I would suggest MikG 3.0. Very stable and fast. Lots of tweaks(clock color, battery bar, inverted notification pull down, etc...) with more to come in the next updates.

Thanks for the reply! I thought it was unadvisable to partition the stock card. If I'd known it was ok, I would have done it a while ago!

I partitioned my stock card and used it for awhile before upgrading to a 16GB Class 10 card. I never had any issues, so it's worth a shot. It might affect games if you play a lot of games, but you never know until you try!

I would also recommend MikG 3.0 and the Anthrax kernel. Blazing fast combo. Honestly it makes AOSP seem slow. And I used to be the biggest of AOSP fanboys.

While a great ROM, MikG has really been around for forever. If you're looking for something *NEW* try TommyTomatoes Classic EVO. Its very fast, lightweight, and has great battery life.

I thought the anthrax kernel was for ASOP roms... you're telling me it runs well on mik3.0?

If you want to see *New new* then I would check out the Sense 3.5 Roms.
They look great on our phones and offer a lot of options for customization.

There is a con to them though. No 4G and it may take flashing a couple of apk's to get the VVM working.

Well, there was briefly an AOSP test build floating around as well, but it was only available for like a day it it got pulled. I never bothered downloading it because if you happened to turn on wifi, it would make your phone go into a bootloop.

Anthrax for our EVO's is strictly sense at this point. Always has been.

Like Mizzou stated, there was an AOSP version of Anthrax but there were too many issues:( Hopefully Chad can continue development on his kernels soon:)

+1

I've been running NRG's Energy 3.5 rom for a month now and I would have to say it's one of the better 3.5 roms out, imo;)

:(

Hopefully he can continue doing what he does best:)
