Are you planning on buying the Incredible HD/Vigor/Rezound?

Maybe its just me, but Rezound doesn't role off your tongue.

The HTC Droid Incredible HD would seem more appropriate as the Incredible has a strong established name.

Is the release date for Verizon still at October 13?

Nobody really knows. The leaked radioshack document said oct 20 so we shall see.

Saw that, but wasn't sure if Verizon is still looking at Oct 13 and Radio Shack Oct 20.

Looking ahead, I currently have the Incredible with the 1750mAh battery. Anyone know if the stock battery is going to be more than sufficient or is an upgraded version going to be recommended?

As for cases, I have the Seidio Innocase II in black. Has this case since been renamed Surface? Wonder if they will be making this case for the HTC Droid Incredible HD?

This thread is making me salivate. I had a thunderbolt that was flawless and I feel that was my best phone. If the vigor (or w/e its name is) lives up to the hype im all in. HTC won me over from MOTO. Even though I love my droids 1 & 2.

Most likely if the sensation xe battery fits in the stock battery door on the vigor I would think that would be enough to get you through the day on moderate use in a 4g area. The stock battery will probably last about 8 hours and if you install a custom rom and kernal you probably will make it through a day easily. Maybe sense 3.5 will help with battery since it isn't so heavy?

Any idea if the previous Seidio Innocase II case is now referring to as Surface? Hoping Seidio offers this case for the new HTC Droid Incredible HD.

I think that is what the case is. I am not 100% sure since I don't really use cases anymore I only did when I had an iphone because it was class. Android phones seem to be a little better with not being built with glass front and back.

Personally, I love the look of the casing.. I'm a big fan of the Inc and Inc2 styling. I really hope this comes out as the Incredible HD.

Agree! Saw those specs and only one thing came to mind...

So, I'm not bashing at all, as a matter of fact this will be my next phone on release day, as my wife will be taking my TB, but I've got some questions/concerns...I happen to love the design of the cover, kickstand and speaker on the TB. In your opinion, do you think that the casing is a step down from Bolt?...I know the guts aren't by far, and that's what really counts, but I'm just curious. Thanks, all.

Personally the tb kickstand on my tb is already wearing off and I only have used it once or twice. i think taking out the kickstand allowed for a larger space for the battery which I will take any day over a kickstand. The casing seems to be on par if not better than the tb.

Again, this is coming from a place where I have no real knowledge but is the material that the case is made out of on the TB better than rubber/plastic? I thought I read back when that it is a alloy or metal plastic mix or something. And the speaker on the TB seems to be bigger than the one on the Vigor. Again, just wondering cause I'm dying for as much info on this baby as possible. Again, thanks for the input.

So, how does that work when connecting to a TV? Micro-USB on one end and a regular HDMI on the other end?

Here is an example of an MHL adapter. One end connects to micro USB on the phone, and the other accepts a standard HDMI cable. Apparently phones can charge over MHL on a supported TV. Otherwise, if you look at the close-up picture in the link, it shows a micro USB port for charging.

Yea, the design of the Vigor looks to be more Inc2 than TB.. which means the tactile coating on the casing.. which I like, because I'm freakin clumsy

it looks to be the same type of material. The tb is pretty much all plastic. Also the speaker we are not sure of but since it most likely will have beats audio i would think they would make sure it is loud enough.
