Anyone ever wake up, go through the normal paces, and realize that on that day you're a year older?

I've gone through this crap 19 times now as of today... when does it ever end???

I had that experience yesterday... for the 50th time in my life!

Just wait... it gets better in time *evil laugh*
 
I didn't even realize it was my birthday last time until nearly 4pm that day. When you get older (not that I'm ancient or anything), adding another year isn't appealing anymore.

what about senior discounts!!!!! I was pretty excited about 25 tho, cause it lowered my car insurance quite a bit.

I told people to quit getting me presents for Christmas and bdays a while back now. But they'd still get me something. I realized, they thought me saying "don't get me anything, really" was me playing the "I may say don't but I really mean do"

I changed my approach, I told them instead of buying me a gift, buy my daughter a gift. When my brother and wife asks what I want for Christmas, I tell them to use the limited money they have for a budget to buy an extra present for his two daughters.

I just don't think the O.P. really hates his bday and just wants the attention he wouldn't have recieved had he not mentioned it.
