Not that I've noticed. I have chrome installed and found that I had like 6 tabs open at once when I wanted to open a new window, so it must have plenty of open ram because I didn't notice

Yes, but I did notice that while driving around it has an issue switching towers
 
How is the battery? Do you think its sufficient or would you get an extended one?
And does Sense run smoothly most of the time?

Battery life is acceptable. I have had wifi on most of the time, and with Juice Defender, it lasts all day with moderate/heavy use. But I have already ordered the 3500mAh extended battery in Amazon.

As for Sense, it is very smooth, and it runs well. There are a lot of quirks that I don't like about it. EG, the notification settings doesn't have brightness, or wifi, and I don't like the desktop transitions, they are to flashy. But that is just my opinion.

Yes, my text and web is working 100%. So is my GPS (with near instant locks). Also, I am getting solid 4G in a 20 mile radius around my house and averaging 6-7 mbps down

The battery appears very good (much better than the Triumph). I have wifi on all the time and 4G enabled all the time. I have been in a car with GPS and maps doing navigation for about 20 minutes. I have been browsing the web quite a bit. Some texting.

That has been since 7:30 am so about 4 hours and I'm at 70%.

I fully expect to get a full day out of it.

Sense runs perfectly smoothly. I haven't had any "lag" issues yet

I was on the grandfathered $25 a month and now am on the $35 a month with no issues.

My guess is that your phone isn't activated correctly. When I activated my Triumph for my wife last night, I forgot to type in the ##VIRGIN# and enter her information in and I could use the internet but not use the messaging or voice.

It could be something like that
 
This'll be my first android phone upgrade. Do you have to repurchase all your apps for the new phone or can you just redownload them from your account?

Also, to upgrade the phone, you can do it from the VM website right (to keep the same phone#)? How long did the process take?

Yep had that happen on the 1st OV I got over a yr ago after trying to activate it online and glitched it.. Took it back lost the $25 for pre paid.. Tried to get a Nexus S and took it back for no reception.. I just let the store do it now.. Never a problem since..

And no if your new phone is connected to your old account the apps are still yours.. I started a new account for mine so no apps but I have all free so NP....

im on that plan too i did ##CLEAR# even did a whole reset on there phone turned on and still none of the 2 worked for text i get class code 64 error class 2

You redownload them when you resync your google account. I had an issue with the website when activating. I called CS and they had me up and running in less then 5 minutes. Everything was working talk, text, and data.

When you get your new phone, you sign into your google account and all your paid app transactions come with. That means you will be able to download all your paid apps like normal (without paying again).

You can upgrade right from the VM website (see the "swap phone" option). They were having problems yesterday, so I had to call in and they did it for me. If you are on one of the grandfathered plans, I suggest switching to the new plan, waiting till you get the text that you've changed plans, and then swapping the phone.
 
class code 64 error class 2 is what i get when trying to send a text is there anything that should be chenged in ##3282# that maybe the people at radio shack missed while activating my phone

Ahhh Man cs told me 8 days to fix it a year and change ago when this happened to me after glicthing the signup and trying to finish by 1-800.. GL and I hope they didn't mess it up at rs but it happens as we are all human.... I took it back and started over and lost the $25s worth of time with it.. Ended up with a OV a month later as it just could not be beat for value at the time..

Had radio shack here activate it and have never looked back.. It was half the price of the EVO V I now hold.. I got the $35 plan with the Evo as I never go over 200 minutes a month talk time....

They are tied to your Gmail account so you're safe.

Lol mine too! I'm gonna switch to the $35 plan first thing in the morning then activating it a few hours later.

I have a question about the camera actually. Does it take long for the phone to be ready to take a pic after you had already taken one?
