Root ASOP ROMs & Texting

It's weird, this seems to only happen on ASOP ROMs like MIUI and Warm Z TwoPointTwo...

Before I was able to write an entire text message and if it was longer than one text, it would automatically send it in how many ever texts it would fit into. For example:

Let's say my character length is only 160 characters, if I go beyond that, say 170 characters, it should make two texts and send them out. But it doesn't. Instead it will sit in my box and continue saying over and over again "message not sent".

I know that a fix is to just create two texts but it gets annoying especially now that I get more texts in the day.

Oh and this has happened on both of my Evos, not just one. The old one and this new replacement. When I was in Sense Stock unrooted, I was able to send texts and it would automatically create multiple messages if necessary.

Anyone else have this problem or was able to fix it?

Handcent from the market usually solves these issues;)
 
Yo the same exact thing happened to me, flashed cm7 for my sister and when It had to overlap texts it'd screw up and not send any. Then I tried on mine same thing happened tried it on every AOSP roms I flash same for them all

Yeah, I'm now on CM7 and it does it on here too. I'm trying out the app though and it seems to be cool so far.
