Help Aspect ratio on Wallpapers from Gallery

Just downloaded an awesome wallpaper that I would like on my phone, however when I go into gallery I select the "Set as" > "Wallpaper" it gives me a little crop box to crop the image. I move the crop box as far as I can, however the box keeps the aspect ratio. I wish not to keep this ratio and display the whole image as I see it in gallery, not just part of it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Long press your homescreen then select wallpapers then gallery. Then you will be able to use the full image

This worked for my phone when I first got it, but now no matter which way I select the wallpaper it makes me crop. I resized everything, but find this irritating.
