Is there a way to tether the data connection without att tracing it? I havent kept up with this subject and a search doesnt give me certain answer.

Its the same instructions to root and use wifi tether thats out there on the web. I havent tried it yet. But I will have to in a few days so I can use it with a future tablet.

Can I get the info too? I'm trying to achieve the same thing.
Thanks

can i get the info too

Srry guys. I don't get on Android forums much. If you haven't noticed the s4 thread is completely dead. No roms. No development. No kernels.mods. themes. Nothing. I'm over xda. But I will send both of you a zip with the modded tether. You can either flash in recovery or you can install it with a file Explorer. Also another thing you can do is use a vpn app. It makes it look like the data your using is going to a Web proxy but it's really going somewhere else. Hence them not being able to see you're tethering. I use one called vpn 1 click

wow dude i got it but have no clue wut to do with it thanx anyways im a noob at this is it a vidio on how to do this or where i put this file

you are rooted right? You can flash the zip in recovery to install it or you can use a file explorer to find the file look inside click on the apk and it will give you the option to install it. You have to be rooted to use it. And if you use the file explorer way you have to check unknown sources in settings/security

After its installed you will find wifi tether in your app drawer

yea im rooted but the all the zip's and xda's i got no clue where to go or to start i got lucky and found a root step by step vid that was a big help seen that i got the at&t pos that's a bit harder to root im a noob to the phone game

Xda is another forum site. Like this is android forums. On other phonnes ive owned this forum had alot to offer. But when dealing with our s4 there is no knowledgeable people on this one. Just people with questions. Ive never minded helping. If I was you I would definitely check out xda. Google is your friend. And be warned they are not as friendly to questions over there. If u have a question that everyone else sees as a no brainer be sure to post it in the question and answer section
