Root [AT&T] My poor S4. PLEASE Help!!#

The boot loop could have been from : removing the SD card , rooting may have been cause of a minor skip in data . but it may have fixed itself .
 
I can't even get it into safe mode. I'm persistent though I'll get it. Another (dumb) question..
I dont have a PC or laptop but have a tablet. Can I use the tablet to unzip files then send To phone ?

You could or put on SD card unzip or flash . or use the tablet to unzip what tablet is this a android or windows
 
No I can't get it to go into it with the tutorials you gave me. dont know if I'm doing it wrong or what. But I did get it into recovery and i cleaned cache partition. and hard reset it still won't boot again
 
So can you tell me please what to do stepbystep to get it out of Bootloop and back to stock. I may Root it again later but just wanna get it running again now. Will have a laptop for a short Window of time
 
My bas I just meant dude idk what it is. Its not totally busted because it charges and powers on. It stops once it gets to the white Verizon screen and that's it. I cleared cache partition, FDR through the volume key combo. Still won't come on. I can't get it into smart mode but I think that's because im not doing it right. I did get it into download mode. So now idk what to do next. Idk how to do any of the Odin or flashing roms or if that's even needed. I just assumed since there is power and the screen is working that its got something to do with a Root issue or its bricked but only an assumptiom
 
Now I can get the factory image with your help and you can flash the factory image through Odin to repair what ever you did . sounds like you deleted a app or file it needed for a startup boot . what firmware was your s4.. Or we can do something else such as flash a ROM or custom ROM and see if this issue still happens .
 
O I am so sorry I asked for firmware duhhhhh brainz you told me in the second post :eek::D:p

Now to fix this its two ways . Odin is both of them now this is one fix that you will need what is called a pit file both of the pit files and Odin are in the URL I have provided

I watched a few tutorials on YouTube about extracting and compressing zip/rar files and vice versa and i downloaded Androzip. Im sure i have a pretty good grasp of how get into them but i need to know how to extract the files out that i would put into the obb file in the Android Folder because theres not an item named .apk in any of the zip/rar/ etc. that I've opened up. I'm trying to download a mod for an Android and I keep getting ones for windows.frustrated to say the leasT. Please anybody help

What did you use to make the zips and what are you saying you keep vetting windows that is all that you can use other than MAC . what mod
 
I was in the middle of typing it speed to read your reply and when I hit reply for yours it pulled that one up my mistake. At any rate, I appreciate your help and it may be a day or so before I have access to a PC but as soon as I can try it out and it works we're going to have a one happy girl!!!
 
Its a mod for an Android game (like a cheat.hack shh) lol no but seriously you know how sometimes like you google for example an icon pack other customization tool or one of such mod tools and when you go to download the file it gives you, and an error message pops up saying problem parsing package beater its a zip/rar file. So I heard you can extract the .apk out of there once you recompile/unpack/extract the files that are in the package with a file manager/explorer like androzip win7 or Root explorer. is that incorrect??
 
What what wait what are you speaking of . its a simple way . you use this

This is very simple to use make sure your rooted and make sure you see this rw to work and not ro . simple go to download folder tap on the zip file when you see the app long press and extract . now go into the extract folder and place the app or extracted contents into any folder you like being that you are rooted.

Hey there I funny know how to unzip the Odin file on this laptop. I have everything downloaded that I need just can't get that done
 
I dunno how to do it. I downloaded winzip 7zip and winrar there isn't anywhere I Dee to open whether of then to have the option of unzipping Odin.
