Okay what if I download Odin on my backup lg oe (rooted) ABs unzip it there and then put it on the laptop via sd card bruiser I can unzip it on the lg. Will it be an exe after unzipping or rar or??

Lmao I like that analogy but I hadn't attempted it yet do I dont feel quite as toddleresque.okay do I have Odin firmware and winzip downloaded on laptop. Yet if i gry tp op the winzip folder, this is what it gives me
It doesn't give me an icon on the desk to outeven an icon on the programs menu as if it were a standalone program do how do I go about letting Odin know I wanna zip him?

You can't put the zip on the desktop . make a folder or 2with all the software for the android . this will help you keep tack of them and for you to identify them when needed . now when you unzip Odin . make sure you reboot the PC/laptop this will kill all background running items so you can restore the Samsung device .

Now when you double tap on zip file it will ask you to unzip open and blah blah u want unzip

Okay I'll try it. I watched a windows video DVD its pretty much the same as when you do it in your Android. Its a windows 7 and I it seems like the prior I borrowed it from changed some settings because every time you try to open any file I mean anything I ask you what program you want to use to open it like in the in the picture so if I can get past that and I knew what program to use to open it I can maybe get through it get past it but yeah I did make another folder just for this and created a shortcut to desktop.

Thats how I do it cause sometimes files either disappeared or deleted themselvesI can say they wasn't there.

okay so I just clicked on WinZip the shortcut that I created on the desktop. this is the picture that is a picture of what came up immediately after I click the icon. so what program do I use to open WinZip

WinZip isn't unziped to the c Drive yet

All you done was looked at the zip or downloaded the zip without installing

Since you have your original firmware letters if you use this when you get Odin installed this will put the stock official firmware back on the device

Put the firmware in the correct spot and boom you have official firmware to download

That could be but you never said if you dropped and now I would say to take in for a warranty repair . so they can get a new device out to you.

No warranty I bought it from my sister. But no I haven't stopped it but I.heard that the slightest jar will mess the digitizer up

How old is it aka how long did sis have it. She may extend a helping hand and get it repaired from Verizon or maybe you may want to try fixing digitalizer yourself .

I think I'll try the ladder. Checked out Some of the parts online earlier and some tutorials. Just gotta buy a heat gun. It should be an original screen kit right not an OEM?

Yeah cheapest i found was they kit with the glass screen digitalized and led screen thing is 49.00 and then I gotta buy the tools and adhesive for it. But that's cheaper than having it repaired by someone else. they told me 250 at a repair shOP here where I live. I'm like Wtf

Check with radio shack in your neighborhood . they started to repair Samsung devices in the hood .. Check to see how much will they charge to install a digitalizer . and you Dont need to but adhesive it comes already on the new one that's why you use the heat gun aka hair dryer every female knows what a good hair dryer will do .
