Atrix experiencing call quality issues, could this be delaying the Bionic?

It's been much talked about here about the Atrix coming out in Feb, while it's brother, the Bionic, still is up in the air. We know these are very similar phones that have shared probs (see the power/heat issue they both allegedly shared). Could this latest issue be a reason we still have no idea when the Bionic will drop? Or is it that Moto is reading this site and is working on unlocking the bootloader and upgrading the RAM to 1GHz to appease our demands? Or am I just manufacturing an excuse to talk about a phone that it's maker and carrier refuses to do? Yeah, it's probably that.

My guess is that they were actually waiting to get reports in on issues with the Atrix until after it released. Then they can somewhat gauge on what they need to improve on for the Bionic. I suppose this is a good thing. Then again, a lack of any type of news on the Bionic is still maddening.

Far as I know they are waiting for 2.3 to be stable and on the phone before they release the Bionic to avoid OTA issues.

Although it does make logical sense for them to do this, I could have sworn I saw an ad saying 2.3 on it.

Everywhere I've read* says gingerbread will be an update for the Bionic.



*Everyday I hit up three different forums and check for anything new on the Bionic. Currently on a BB curve with no internet, so this will be an amazing upgrade that I'm stoked for...ie I've read almost everything there is to read

The crappy thing is we wont know since Motorola doesn't want to tell us a damn thing!!!

There is no delay guys...its been rumored for a while now that the Bionic will not drop until the beginning of Summer...dont forget the Samsung Charge, which is a 4G phone and is coming in April at some point. Then u got the Incredible 2 which is a 3G only device probably coming at the end of April, maybe early May. So that leaves the next BIG 4G release, which will be the Bionic and at some point I would assume to be dropping sometime in June. Remember they still have the Droid x 2 which will be a 3G phone. And then the BIG boom drops, the iPhone 5 will shut down everything, and VZW will be 100% focused on the Fruit. So final answer, there is no delay in my.eyes, it was always early summer.
