Atrix price drop

Right now Amazon.com is advertising the Atrix for $99.

AT&T is advertising refurbished (customer returned) phones for $50 online.

If you are willing to shop around and be patient, there is no reason to pay more than $100 for it.

I went to att store yesterday. told them walmart had atrix for 99 and they price matched it. Took 5 mins. They checked on line to veirify. They will price match if actual store is within so many miles of att store

I don't feel to bad. I got mine in march from the att store for 150. For 99 the phone is a smoking deal. I think they are trying to make up for lost ground due to all the bad press the phone got.

Just picked up mint condition no scratches Atrix on craigslist for $300. This phone is basically brand new.

Prices are dropping in craiglist. If you shop around you can possibly get mint Atrix on craigslist for $250 for some who just want to dump the Atrix for whatever reason.

eBay prices are much higher.

How quickly these wonder phones lose their value

Lol yeah it reminds me of that simpsons episode where they buy a pc and the second he leaves they got a new pc on the window but I'm pretty sure I got a great deal for 99 bucks

Just got it today for $49 and the lapdock for $199, $299 with a $100 rebate/visa card. It is new and it was $99 but they gave me some long term customer discount for an extra $50 off. Love it so far but having some problems downloading apps, just keep's saying verifying.

So I just spent time arguing with an agent on the phone about the non commitment price for the Atrix due to differences on the website. If I look at the non commitment price prior to logging into my account it shows $449 if I log into my premier account it shows $549 what is up with that. They told me it was for new customers but since I was already a customer I would have to pay the $549. WTF is up with that no one would help me so that I could get the same price. I told them it was a load of **** that I could not get the same price. I told them that I was thinking about ending my contract because of this and they did not care. Anyone have any advice on how to get my way?

well it's off contract :/ so just go in the store and buy it and don't mention that you're a premier. Go into BestBuy and see if they will sell it at $449.

Canada BestBuy has the Bell Atrix for FREE now!!! Yup...sign a 3 yr contract and you get your phone for FREE!

Thanks, I will give that a try. We do not haved an Best Buy but I just happen to be going to Salem this weekend to see my dad where they do. :)

Best bet is to buy it from Best Buy and hope they will price match. I can see it as a bit petty for AT&T to not want to give the price match but then again it is for a no commitment phone in which they will not be getting any recurring revenue and you can't knock them for having new customer special pricing. Every company does.

Interesting. My local Wal-Mart is advertising in-store price of $78 for the Atrix (with 2yr contract).

The AT&T store just 5miles down the road is still advertising it at $99 with 2yr contract.

I'll check-in with the AT&T sales rep to see if he can do anything.
It just doesn't make sense to even have an AT&T-specific store if other AT&T dealers (like Wal-Mart or BestBuy) are going to sell their own products out from beneath them...

I figure the ATT-store sales rep's can't help but to provide some sort of discount if they want their commission.

wow! if I could get the Atrix for $49, I'll jump in right now!

I'm just worried that the reason they're dropping the price down is to prevent competition with it's upcoming Android phones (if any)... giving my buyer's remorse! agh!

I think the price is dropping fast, because of the competition and that the Atrix just wasn't advertised properly. In all the advertisments, they mostly focused on the docks, when these are good, most probably just want the phone. (I'm one of them.) Also, most people won't spend a lot of time in these forums or on line to research a phone to buy. I spent like two months doing research on the Atrix, of course at that time it was the only duel core phone out. So, it made the decision easy.

I think a lot of people want Gingerbread, which it's coming, and don't want Motoblur either.

Exactly why I did. Cant get much lower than that, Hell of a deal. I love gadgets and technology just as much as the next guy but I don't beat myself up over not always having the latest and greatest (right now I *sorta* do :D). I like to make my phones last and with seeing the switch to dual core phones I just don't see why I wouldn't pick up the Atrix. I love it and with the lapdock that I got, it really blur's the line between a pc and a phone. I believe in voting with my dollar and I hope to see more companies lean towards this type of tech

I got mine this past weekend for $99 with a new 2-year commitment, which I didn't have a problem signing. I've been with AT&T since 2006 and they have really treated me right.

4G Phone + Dual Core + Unlimited Data (grandfathered) = win.

Is it still $99?
