OK my Atrix just rebooted 2 times today. This is getting pretty annoying.
I saw few Threads on the forum already bu couldn't find an answer weather or not replacing the phone fixed the issue for people who had it. Should i replace mine??

Some of the reboots are can be missed bu user as they happens when phone just idles the good way to check is to: do dial
*#*#4636#*#* and go to "battery Information" -> Time since boot:
If you see that this time is less then what you think it should be(you know when you last rebooted).

On the side note i saw few threads where people where complaining about the battery life, an it might be connected as those reboots do reset the battery timer.

I just got my Atrix yesterday and it just rebooted itself once today. I'll keep tabs on this if it will require an exchange.

I've had mine 3 weeks today, and it literally just now did it for the first time. As if I needed other issues with it. Probably taking it back before the 30 is up

Ok, didn't really read the OP....dialed the number, says its only been a little over 2 hours since last boot. Haven't rebooted it myself today and the "random" one that I caught was almost 6 hours ago. So who knows how many times it actually happens

Awesome.

It's rebooted on my about 3-4 times in the 3 weeks I've had it. I guess I'm not too concerned about it since they were all random and its the only issue I've had with it.

I've had it 4 days now, and it just rebooted for the first time that i know of.
I hope this is not an ongoing issue. I really like the phone, but there seem to be a lot of issues with it, from what i read here.

Mine has rebooted only a couple times since I've gotten the phone about a month ago, but its only when doing things that I shouldn't be (aka bloat freezer and such)

My phone also started rebooting, it seems to me like there are two times when it will do it.
1) Random reboots, from software, compatibility or other issues
2) The lock screen. Other people have noted that if the phone freezes and users press the lock button the phone with crash. I have also experienced this first hand. If my phone glitches, or an app hangs and I press the lock screen it reboots. If I wait for the phone it usually hangs for a bit then the program crashes.

It is possible that 2 is just 1 but its worth noting for anyone working on a solution.

Note: Anyone noticing apps starting on their own? More than the regular for android? Music player randomly opens and starts playing music, this could possibly be related.

I've had it reboot twice in the month been using the phone, first time was the first week I had the phone. Second was today at the gym while my music was playing.

Not a big issue for me since my previous Iphone would lock up or freeze a few times per day.

I'm not having random reboots, but I do notice that whenever I plug in my phone to usb through my PC it reboots.

Does anyone else have this problem?

My Atrix didn't auto rebooted but one of my apps (imo.im) got stuck/jammed and was a white screen. I was able to use the notification far to get out of the app. It didn't force close. Put the phone to sleep, turned it back on and now the whole screen less the notification bar is black. The notification bar didn't work and soft buttons wouldn't respond. I was able to long press on the power button to turn off the phone to do a manual reboot. First since I got the phone 10 days ago that this has happened.

I have the same issue. Mine seems to happen when I'm using the Sirius Xm app but it does happen at other times. Seems to happen when it loses a bluetooth connection to something.

My phone random reboots some times and i cant figure out why. Its happened when using the sirius xm app and another time while just using winamp to listen to music. And again another time when i wasnt using the dam thing.

I had 3 random reboots after the update, but haven't had one in 6 days. Another weird thing I noticed after the update the phone would seem to charge with the wall adapter in about 60 minutes even when it was down to 20%. Now it's back to taking about 2.5 hours to recharge to 100%...

I've had this problem too. I've owned the phone about 6 weeks but only noticed it in the last 2 weeks - coincidentally or not, since AT&T pushed the software update.

I spoke to Motorola support today and their solution was for me to factory reset (which I'd already done), set up a new Motoblur account and then install nothing new on the phone for a day or two to see if it happens again.

Oh boy...that's not going to be an enjoyable 1/2 days >_< can't stand it when I was testing my phone 'bare' lol.

It's been randomly rebooting when I don't notice it. I've also noticed it gets Really Really hot when it does. Either a software issue or what. I just assume it's a saftey feature of the phone. When it reboots during a call ill be back with an angry reply lol

Rebooted first time after 6 weeks..
Early morning, woke me up when it restarted..
Uninstalled advance task killer.. Let's see..
