Root Audio Enhancers

Found it. I put the .apk file on my sd card and brought up emulator. Get to last step and says "aaengine not found.
 
question: it doesn't show .apk file on my sd card. When go into my sd card, but it's looking for .zip files. Is there option in 4ext that should be using, after installing from sd card.
 
Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear enough. After flashing the 2082, 2085 & optional clear audio files, boot into your rom. Then browse your sd card with any file explorer and install the app. Then open terminal emulator and issue the 3 commands, then reboot the phone!
 
Doubt it's you. It's working fine now. I won't even post my mistake, really look like a newb. Thanks again for your help and patience.
 
So now that got the acid mod working.........

What would be the steps to flashing this Anthrax kernel. Dude post a link to the Anthrax 3.7.0. Again I have the AlienDroid 1.0 jellybean rom??
 
Reading posts about kernels, some recommend one called "Buttered Toast" and says just to wipe cache, and dalvik cache. Any thoughts on either of these kernels guys.
 
So reading more posts, I shouldn't use the above link for Anthrax without permission from Chad. I don't want to lose my membership, by not following the rules.

You definitely won't lose your membership for using that kernel... do what makes you happy.

Once something is out on the Internet, it's almost impossible to remove it.
 
I guess ramjet73 said it best on another post, stick with the kernel the developer programed with. Reading xda threads and here, no working kernels for 4.2 jellybean roms as of yet. Thanks for all your help.
 
I've never really liked messing with the kernels, personally. If the developer of the ROM used a specific kernel, I assume they programmed around it for some sort of reason.
 
ya, think your right. Must have been for a reason. Learning what works and doesn't. File this under, "Ain't broke, don't fix it"
 
Better is good also. If hear of someone having success with a kernel like buttered toast or anthrax. I have jellybean 4.1.2. I was so excited to learn how to flash a kernel from hatred33 above. Saying my phone would sing. Didn't consider he's on different rom then me. Still searching though.
