I was just given a text message saying that metro pcs sent me a update . I laughed and said no way . It was funny cause this dude and his girlfriend works at my job . They got this shit that took 10 minutes to download . I am thinking how is this so . Now the tech at my job say that i am missing something . Can't be so i flashed back to my stock and what do u see . You got it the dam update looking at me . But i found out what we need and drift rom is working great . But this update app i thought wasn't needed but the tech said u need a file called fota pipe and the app is called update mobile client . . So make a copy where you are and if you have the backup of your zve os . Apply it .
 
I already updated through the LG tool. Is it fine like this or do I need to go back to stock for that update app?
 
Stock for update . I did the same and was confused that a ota came to my phone . But u will get a text . What prl are u at 3032
 
Yes its 3035 and for some reason i posted before when i changed it to 3033 and 9033 once i hit that *228 it would change back to 3032 . But i think the update is something to get the 3035 to stick and work and wont change back to that 3032 :eek:
 
I think thats the update the prl deals with data and controls which towers . So i think this is what this update is :screwy::D:eek: give me a few i will post a screen shot but i think its zve with 3035 prl
 
I see a problem you dont have the lg tool has been updated and it ask u to update a modem driver and when it does it also update the recovery for your device so if u deleted anything from your os it will replace it . Lg tool has updated its service

i went to lg.com and my phone is rooted and i hooked up the phone ,started the update and being rooted it stated i was up to date,didnt unroot,didnt do anything to my phone. :D
 
MFW the NSA convinces metropcs/tmoble to push and "update" j/k or am I?

I don't think for one minute metro cares enough about the esteem to push an update. They would rather sell new phones.

just the fact they're trying to push an update, seems fishy to me....

can anyone check to see wtf this update is exactly, what the coding is and what it does, or allows.

I agree...this is a bit weird
 
in the wake of the Feds taking down Tor and bringing it back up under their watch, and the verizon shit, once metro and t mobile merge, there's this update?
until I know exactly what this is/does, I'm sceptical it's what they say it is.

i unrooted my phone to see if update would come threw and so far its nt rebooted or anything but my prl has changed to 3035 from 3032 i believe it was,i posted it somewhere,guess wait til tom. to see if it happens just to get the metro mess,vm to stop
 
At least you all been able to root the zve update it won't let me and I've tried a few of the root kits on here and all of them give me an error. I so miss my rooted phone

would it help if i sent you the aio ive bn using or have you tried trwp,the aio i hav was downloaded a bit ago but it works on mine
