Help authentication error

My wifes ally keeps getting google authentication errors. It pops up that stupid capcha or what ever its called at least 2 or 3 times a day. Currently her phone is rooted with velocity 1.0 installed. Anybody know what might be causing these errors?

When did you flash? and re-enter the password on the accounts and sync settings page

Man i really cant remember when i flashed it, it was within a week of velocity coming out. All passwords were reentered by hand an not a Ti back up either.
I don't think its the rom, as a matter of fact im almost sure its not the rom. I encountered the same problem on my old D1 once, but i don't remember what fixed it. I was flashing new roms almost daily on it so who knows.
