Help Automatic brightness adjustment

Hi there,

Is there an app that allows you to adjust the automatic brightness levels? When it adjusts to ambient it wastes too much battery but I don't want to be stuck on manual low brightness. Someone mentioned it in the atrix forums but there was no solution.

Anyone know a way to adjust the auto brightness threshold down?
 
Not aware of how to change the thresholds - it is easy to quickly change brightness manually on the SGSII though - long press the notifications area and drag finger left/right to alter the brightness. I use it in preference to automatic, very quick and easy, maybe it will be of use to you also?
 
I have to say the brightness has been a pain when I turn the phone on outside in bright sunlight. The phone doesn't brighten at all sometimes.

thats a great tip, u should post it in the tips n tricks thread if not already :D thanks. i had it on manual too and i didnt adjust it much, but now i guess i will :D
 
I think I already posted it there, or someone did at any rate. Worth mentioning again periodically for those who might not have seen it.
 
I use this feature pretty often, especially when your display is low and you are out in the sun, trying to go through the menu's is a nightmare, but by just swiping the notification bar its easily turned up.
