Help Automatic downloads

Anyone else's X automatically downloading stock program updates today? I turned my wi-fi on, it it has downloaded (or updated) Skype, Voice Search, My Verizon Mobile, a new Data Usage widget, and Gmail.

Always does it. I thunk you can set them to manually update.

I've only had it 2 months, guess that's the first time I've noticed it.

If you go into the app in the market, you'll see a checkbox that says "Allow updates automatically."

I always uncheck that - I hate my phone doing things without me initiating it.
