If I have a rooted SGH-T989 how can I avoid bricking I know custom ROMs can get.ny phone bricked bit if I only use root for root apps could I get brickedN

It's really not that easy to hard brick this phone. As long as you don't flash a rom or kernel made for a different phone you usually won't have a problem. If you run into a problem, most of the time you can fix it with a factory reset or use Odin to install the stock ROM. Just remember to make a backup in recovery that you can restore if you need to.
