Hey all.... thought I would pass along what I found for those interested. I was looking for a charging dock for my evo, and not liking what I was finding.

Upon doing extensive searching on Ebay, I found this. I ordered this dock, have received it, and I love it. It has a slot on the back to charge a extra battery, and the dock is a great fit. I have this dock on my nightstand, and at the end of the night, I just drop it in. The power cord that comes with it charges at the same rate as if it were charging by usb port. If you dont like that, you can power it with your regular wall charger. Also, it has two power inputs, one is for the phone dock part, and the other is for the spare battery slot.

Before anyone says anything, I realize that the phone pictured in the photo is not an Evo. I can assure you that this dock is made for the evo, and you have nothing to worr about. ( I noticed this too, and contacted the seller before I got mine)

If you are looking for a good charging dock, you can't go wrong with this one. I think this is the best $20 I have spent so far on an Evo accessory.

Not only is the phone pictured not an Evo, but in the description lower on the page, it's called a "Waterproof Flashlight Camcorder Outdoor Camera Recorder". :p

READING FAIL. It is clearly an EVO product, even if the phone in the pic doesnt show an EVO. And the other thing is clearly a typo. 99.8% positive rating.

Yep.... I noticed these things also....... but I can assure you.... if you order this, what you get is a great dock for your Evo.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to diss the dock, just pointing out another mistake in the listing. :o I see that he has sold quite a few of these, and I'm thinking about ordering one myself. :)

I like to keep both the USB cable and the wall charger plugged in to the dock all the time, so that my phone stays synchronized when the computer is on, and when I turn my computer on in the morning, both batteries are fully charged. However, I've had a problem with two docks for two different phones.

With those two, the DC from the wall charger feeds back through the USB cable in the dock and into my computer when it's turned off. This keeps my chassis fans running, and my keyboard lights on. Who knows what kind of damage this could cause if left connected this way.

Does anyone know if this dock has this defective wiring too?

looks much better than the one i just got off of ebay (not working pos)

may try it out!

$20? I see it for $100..... What a ripoff....... Does this guy really think anyone is gonna pay $100 for this?

I saw this also, and I asked the seller about it. They received a appearing amount of orders one weekend, and ran out of stock, so they raised the price so no one would purchase it until they could get more in.

Dang, I guess I should have bought one when it was first posted! :(

It's not really a problem.... he tends to get more in stock in a week or two. just keep an eye on it, and when the price drops back to 19.99, it means they are back in stock. Order then.

id be willing to bet there are people out there who will order this with it being 99 bucks anyway... lol..

let the buyer beware!

its high quality. has two power feeds (one for the spare battery). it is a shiny black plastic. i think with a high friction base or some tape it would work well on a desk. I am going to work with it a few days to assess the ease of sliding in/out and decide if i want one for the office too.

Has anyone tried this with the wall charger plugged into the wall and USB cable plugged into the computer to see if it back feeds voltage to the computer, when the computer is off?
