Root Backing up Fascinate

So just to let you guys know...I ended up exchanging my phone this morning.

The heat was getting too much for me, I mean I would use it for 5 minutes and it would heat up, after 10 minutes touching the screen was just too hot for me. I was on a 8 minute phone call last night and it started to burn my ears..so I called up verizon and they said definitely exchange it..which I did.

Still too early for me to tell since at work and cannot play...but so far I feel nothing like the other one. My real test will be on way home where I get to play with it for a while.


One thing I notice those battery temp widgets I do not think refelect what is going on, for example I am seeing same temps as my old device or close to it..and not feeling any warmth coming out from the camera. While on my other phone it would be very hot.



One other thing I noticed with new exchange so far is phone is a bit more sluggish..then my previous one even at stock. But when I get home will flash to dj05, stupidfast kernel and jt super clean and hopefully that will fix lagginess.

The interesting thing is on my other phone the landscape - portrait flipping never worked correctly automatically this one is working like a charm.

So hoping this one this time is a keeper!
