Does anyone know if I can turn theme apk's into flashable zip files? I'm on latest BACK side rom and flashed Blue Marble theme. Then found Steel Blue theme by Team Carbon that was an apk and looks awesome, but it takes up almost 20mb inside my optimus internal mem. Can I move it to SD card, or find a zip version of this theme?

@RUDEco, you can move the theme to SD, but your phone will act a tad strange during reboots. You can safely link it to SD, though.

The old one was broken, I couldn't install it either. Odd, because I try to test everything before I upload it. This has been tested, and works just dandy. I've made a few refinements as well (just couldn't resist!) and I now consider it out of beta.

I have Cold as Ice CM9, Apex Launcher. I set it to orange on the theme chooser. It seems to coexist with the ICS theme rather than replace it. What am I doing wrong?

Can CM7 themes run properly on CM9? Seems like they wouldn't, but I've not tried.

Anthonycr has been doing a lot of work with the CM9 themes over at DHoT. Said something about no redirects or that the redirects are totally different for CM9's, can't remember exactly what he posted at the moment. Check the "Cm9 headaches..." thread.

They can't, that's in the workshop. Basically, the xml redirects have changed, so some elements work, some don't. Your best bet is to stick with CM9 themes. Our selection at DHoT is growing quickly ...

Not sure if this has been discussed already or not, but does the implementation of a theme impact the battery usage in any way? I have not applied a theme yet since I recently started running CM 7.2 but I definitely plan to.

No impact on the battery. Slightly longer start-up time (by a few seconds) but other than that themes have no measurable effect on your phone's performance.
