Root bad ROM

i decided to try rooting after a few days of research, and everything was going well ........until i went to flash the MikG v3.11 i had downloaded to my sd. the ROM is appareantly "bad" and now i am stuck on the boot screen, not sure what my next step is. i need my phone for work in the morning, but am afraid i will mess something up since im still new to all this. if anyone is up and can steer me in the right direction, i would be super grateful. thanks
 
That was how i was leaning, but wasn,t sure what my back up covered (OS,etc.) Went ahead and tried it and im good to go. thank you for your help.

a nandroid backup will basically put your phone in the exact state it was in prior to wiping and flashing...im talking everything..even homescreen setups!...if your sd is partitioned..I recommend including sdext in your nandroid as a wipe all type wipe will clear that out, and if you need to revert back to the nandroid, your apps will be gone..unless .sdext is saved!!!
