Baked Bean 3G hack

Has anyone else tried the 3G hack setting on Baked Bean? Decided to try it out today and I have to say Ive noticed a pretty decent change in download time. Just wondering if anyone else has used it and maybe knows what the setting actually does (internally).
 
Are you referring to the removal of the proxy servers? Removing those gets rid of lag caused by gating through it, and instead has a more direct connection to the internet.
 
I not sure if what it does but I also used it and noticed a change big difference in my 3G speeds. I don't know if it removed the proxy cause I did that before I found the 3G hack.

It's a built in setting in the baked bean rom under system settings >baked settings >prop modder. Just check the option for 3g hack. Can't give any insight aboutsswitching, baked is the only rom I've used and don't see my self switching anytime soon. Everything just works for me.
 
Hey I have a question. I just flashed baked bean. I like it but I was wondering: can you change haptic feedback intensity non this ROM? The vibrate is too weak for me when I touch the screen. On wild for the night I can change this setting. Am I overlooking it somewhere?
 
I been on bean for a week now and with exit only's tweaks I am sold.I don't see myself going back to TW any time soon. This rom is a go! Check it out if you haven't yet.

Yeah I feel the same way. Only issue I had initially was GPS but after flashing the tweaks GPS has been working fine. This will be my ROM for a good while unless something absolutely amazing comes out.

The only option I've seen is under the keyboard settings under language and input. It's at the very bottom under advanced options. Not sure if it applies only to the keyboard or everything.
