Sense 3.0 is the sexy, there are still some issues with some of the widget graphics (it is being re-written from the Kingdom port) size wise. Nothing major though and everything else is working very well.

From what Adryn and the group are saying this is not a port of the Kingdom ROM. The are using that as a base but they are re-writing the entire thing for the Tbolt. Quite the project and from the look of these previews it is going to be killer when it is final.

Let us know how you guys like it... I would advise a full wipe when going to it. Also if you have any problems with HTC widgets not showing up or showing in the personalize screen as weird numbers go into Manage APPs and do a data wipe for Rosie.
 
It's smooth alright but I hate the screen animations. Wonder if the older remove animations zip will work.

Not sure if that remove animations zip would work, but if you just go into spare parts and take the animations off normal, I think it cancels out the animations. Not 100% sure, but I think people have changed it from normal and lost transitions.
 
Yea while I liked it, its not ready from prime time just yet. I'm looking forward to the official release.
Setcpu kept crashing on me no matter what I tried. Every time I went back to my home screen my clock would disappear.

I'm sticking with it until the official release comes out. So far the only bug I've found is that when I go to Google using the Dolphin HD browser, the app simply closes and I return to the main screen. Any other page seems to work fine.

I came home from work and crashed cause I'm sick but I'm sitting with 14+ hours since I unplugged it and On at 43% battery life left. Seems pretty decent in that regard.

Yeah, Its super smooth. We'll see how battery does tomorrow. It's not doing too great right now but i won't leave it alone either. I do have a coue problems though. My incoming texts timestamps are 1 hour off and my camcorder force closes. Any fixes?

I haven't received a text message to my actual phone since loading this (but I use GV primarily and that seems to be fine).

As far as the camera goes, the previous GB BAMF ROM would act up if you weren't OC'd (they recommended 1.4 or higher). I've noticed the camera to be much smoother in this ROM and I'm OC'd to 1.5 currently. I haven't played with the camcorder...I'll try that now.
 
Yep...The camcorder FC's when I press the button to stop recording. I hope that gets fixed in the final release because while I don't take much video...when I need it, I need it.
 
im not stickin with it... im not a huge sense fan,so im not really 100% sure what all the differences are,lol. i dont use any of the sense widgets when running sense roms. the spinning cube homescreen affect is sweet for sure,but is also possible with launcher pro.

it seemd to run fine,but i just didnt feel like setting it up and leavin it for a couple days right now. i usually set up roms with ADW EX launcher,but i didnt want to do that with this... id like to try and run it with the sense launcher to get a better feel. if the officical release doesnt drop soon,ill for sure fire it up again later to play with more in depth :cool:

i do love the lockscreen. i love the rin,and the shortcuts... and the ability to run the weather,tho it seemed to suck my battery down extra fast,so i eventually stopped using it,lol.

i do hate 3.0 mms. i dont like the conversation bubbles at all... i prefer the AOSP mms,but even the sense 2.1 mms is more tolerable than those bubbles. just reminds me too much of my ipod,lol.

but all in all,very impressive work,and if your a sense fan,i couldnt find much reason in the couple hours that i played with it not to leave it on as a daily driver :cool:
 
Yeah, if your not a fan of Sense...this ROM is probably not for you. It takes sense to a different level and further away from vanilla Android for sure. I hate all other Android skins but I love Sense.

Now I'm backing it up to see if I can play around and get the sense 2.0 camera to work cause I'll need to take some video with my phone tonight and tomorrow (daughters dance recital). I may have to revert back to a different ROM altogether because the camera on BAMF 2.0 is terrible. It's so much better on this PR but if the camcorder doesn't work...that's not much help to me.
 
Okay funny thing. Last night/this morning when testing my camcorder it forced closed when I pressed the button to stop recording. I checked in the gallery and it didn't show the video I just took (which I was expecting).

So I backed up, put the sense 2.1 camera on there and same thing but the camera was very laggy. So I reverted to my backup to get the 3.0 camera back. But when I went into gallery there was the test video from 3am and the video from the sense 2.1 camera were both in there.

So in short, yes the camera FC's when stopping video recording, the video doesn't instantly show up in the gallery, but it still records and saves successfully. I just tested it again and it still FC'd on me but I went into Astro and my video was instantly available.

Sweet. That's good enough for me...for now anyway.

Ohhhhh SWEET! Your right , my test video is there too. Thats great, I don't mind if it force closes as long as I can still record a video if I decided too ( I rarely do but take pictures often)

My bigger problem at the moment remains that my incoming text messages are an hour off so they don't fall in the correct order in the time line. Very confusing. Anybody else notice this or know how to fix it I would be very thankful to hear it. :D

Other than that this rom is amzing! I am a huge Sense fan and specifically chose the T-Bolt for the Sense. This is a Sense dream come true <3

EDIT: Easy fix, download SMS Time Fix from the market and set it to use the phones current time. Easy fix I saw in BAMF thread after doing a Google search. There are a few other apps by different authors but this is the one I grabbed and it works like a charm.
