Root BAMF Sense SoaB v1.03

honestly im using imos soab tweaked kernel and my battery life isnt that bad. my only problem is that the htc weather clock wont show my correct location. but i have that problem with every sense rom even stock. it sucks that my wifes inc 2's clock is spot on :(

That's weird, I had the issue with synergy once, and have since not tried their new builds, but I usually don't experience this

im likin at pretty well also. battery life is terrible, but i dont think its any worse for me than any other sense rom.

I agree Scotty batt life is crazy bad, and ive tried both Imos' and Ziggy's kernels and shut my 4g off. I guess im use to battery life i get from AOSP with 4g on all the time, but i do like this rom very much. I have had to switch back tho cuz i need my phone for more than 4 hrs at a time.

yep 4-5 is about what i was getting with 3g off  im a pretty heavy user tho. when in wifi and i wasnt pestering it as much,it wasnt near so bad ;)

I love the rom, but am still having the 'lack of an accept call' problem I was having on the earlier ROM. It doesn't happen every time, but it is usually my boss when it happens.

I had that happen one time, in my house where i get terrible service, so i chalked it up to that.

As for the battery life I am at 1d 3h 43ms(extended battery). I only have about 4 hours on 4g though. I am afraid to try anything new, i could do the same stock, but i am pretty confused about anything AOSP, seems like a lot of problems. This thing has been nearly flawless, I flashed the camera kernel, nobody calls me so could care less about the voice mail thing.

I also had bad battery life-- data loss -- Until

i unistalled Task manager using titanium backup also set performance to normal turned off sleep mode (corrected data loss)
.713 works perfect i had 21 hours with moderate 3g use

also removed htclogger and netlogger using titanium backup
I am not sure what the next release will have but this rom is pretty close to perfect after the above fixes your mileage may differ

Threadjack: Eris1981, do you have a bluetooth obdII dongle thing and if you do, which one and do you like it? Noticed you have Torque.

I have the Chinese one from an American seller on Ebay. It has worked well the few times I have used it. I don't think it has as high of refresh rate as the more expensive ones though. I would have bought a nicer one, but was worried the app was not what they claimed.

Any news on a new build of this?

Going to root some time soon and this is the ROM I think I'm going to start with. Looks like really slick work!

I've been using SHIFTS3NS3 for a while now, but decided to try this one out after the forum went out for a while on DroidTh3ory's site. I have to say that I really like this ROM. Pretty much is comparable to SHIFTS3NS3, except for the new features of Sense that come along with 3.5, which are minor in most cases but cool (such as the improved browser and the improved interface). Can't really comment on battery life yet, but standby mode seems to draw only a small amount a power, which is nice. Also, video quality on NFL Mobile is way better for some reason.

I'm going to stick with it for a bit and see how it performs overall.
