Root Base de-odexed ROM

Maybe im just being a dumb shart, but every time i go to flash this, it says couldn't open (bad). Are you guys following a different procedure in this cwm as opposed to other phones? Should i be renaming file to update.zip? cuz choosing the zip doesn't seem to be doing it for me.

Maybe i should try saving the file to internal storage as thats what seems to be the theme for this cwm.


EDIT: Nvm i got it flashed and up and running. I just downloaded on my desktop, then saved to internal memory and flashed from there.
 
What are some apps I can start learning how to theme my phone my self? Because I would like to know how to put together my very own theme some time in the future. So any ideas?!:D:)
 
Just a lil update after debloating my benchmark got bk to normal then after reboot and test agen it got higher :) Screenshot_2012-12-23-15-35-39.png
 
Question:

Is there any way to make the Rom swap the SD card and internal memory? Like rewrite it so they are swapped, without the side effects of the current method like doubling all media?

If this were possible I think a LOT of people would appreciate it, especially people like myself who have a large SD.

*this is just my personaly some-what educated guess/opinion.. lol

i would think that it 'would' be possible.. but it would consist of a little more coding than you would think.. you would have to re-write the mount point to everything that uses the specific mcblk of your internal/sd.. I THINK!!!

and besides that.. you would be very likely to burn out your fancy expensive sd card much faster if your using it in such a manor.. constantly reading, writing & mounting those things makes em unstable, can heat up and crack or just plain burn out... than you'll be left with a faulty system because your internal storage wont exist lol

i could be wrong.... just saying what i think/believe lol it sounds kinda smart tho right? :D lol

This de-odexed stock rom responded very well to V6 supercharger. Instant difference, atleast 50mb ram freed up. Im running V6 supr at setting 9, may play with others.
Between that and busybox, faster boots and better overall performance. Benchmarks for me remain pretty much the same from stock to this ROM with charger around 12700 in antutu, but theres more to be had.

Anyone know if KAK will break anything?
 
So I ran the Remove all bloat batch file after using this, and it erred out, saying the file system was read-only. Any suggestions?


(The *Original* problem was I should have read the instructions for it and not simply clicked the .bat file and expected positive results. My arch nemesis, Common Sense, has apparently screwed me once again)

Then I realized that it still wasnt working. Still have easy wifi and all the other garbage. Has anyone else gotten this to work?
 
I'm using this now and my benchmark actually went up on antutu about 300 points and I haven't debloated only disabled a few apps in the app settings same as before on stock rom.
