Root [BASEBAND] Flashable basebands for LG VS920

Hey guys, I used to have 4g but very weak signal like one bars so i tried flashing zv7 to strengthen the signal. However, after flashing I don't have 3g or 4g anymore and though it says I have 3 bars signal, when i try to send a text message it gives me the error "message not sent" now. I then tried flashing all of the other basebands to see if they would have a different outcome but they all turned out the same except zv4 had less bars. Any ideas?
 
What text app are you using? I've had some problem texting with emoji/emoticons to other carriers, but no problem with text only SMS. If you're using the stock messaging app and can't send text only SMS to another VZW user, that sounds like a service provisioning or APN DB issue to me.

If you're back to stock, try giving VZW a call. Only other thing I could suggest would be trying GoSMS. Last I heard it bounces your messages off their own servers instead of Verizon's.
 
Its not only texting also calling. It tells me "could not complete your call" or something along those lines. I just tried gosms doesn't work either. This all happened when I flashed zv7 last night :(

Whats your IMEI show is it a long string of numbers or 0 or unknown

Settings>About Phone>Status
 
Could be a bad Sim card. Go to VZW store and get a new free one. If that does not fix it then get VZW to get you a refurb "new" Spectrum
 
My IMEI is still good, long string of numbers, I think i'll try to go to a verizon store soon if nobody can pinpoint another problem for me but its a bit of a problem for me right now as I'm on vacation and always on the move, had a few hours to spare so I flashed the baseband but alas this happened to me haha. So keep any solutions you guys can think of posted but I'll try to get to a verizon store asap. Will they give me a refurb if it doesn't work?

You're phone isn't bad, but the flag to switch between NV and RUIM/SIM is probably set wrong. If you have time, unlock your phone again, flash CM10.1 or 10.2. Go into settings -> wireless & networks -> more.... -> mobile networks -> CDMA subscription -> RUIM/SIM . Try and make a phone call. If it works, it's a flag issue. If it doesn't, then it's a possible SIM card issue.
 
Ok guys i figured it out. Somehow my phone account got suspended for no reason LOL. After i flashed a bunch of different basebands I guess. I figured out when facebook sent me an email telling me my number was no longer recognized as a part of the carrier. So I logged in my verizon account and it said my number was suspended, all I had to do was click the reconnect button and it was fixed. Weird. Well, if anyone runs into this problem I hope this helps you! Thanks everybody for your assistance, LG Spectrum community is great :)

That happened to me multipletimes when swapping between spectrums. And a few times upgrading to 4.4. Some kind of flaw in Verizon's system
