battery burning apps

my car home replacement app. if my phone isn't plugged in i can watch the battery drain in front of me, especially if i'm using nav
 
Angry Birds and SliceIt eat my battery big time. That's besides the fact that I'm addicted to them.

Klondike Solitaire is okay, though.

Make sure any apps that you download will not automatically update. The constant system polling will be a killer.
 
Bakery Story

Anything that requires the display to be on or long periods of time...expect it to eat through your battery.
I try to keep my phone plugged in when I'm playing bakery story.
 
For some reason I burned up a battery today like never before. When i poked around in the battery use section it listed the vlingo and xscope apps running a very high percentage. Ive never had this happen before and the only change made was a switch from Apex to Liberty yesterday. So, i uninstalled those two apps and put the phone back on the charger. Will see what happens next.
 
Word fued. You can't change how it updates and its constantly looking. Super fun game but needs the option to change update intervals. Burned up my battery in triple the quickness of my normal use. But i did have bout 20 games going at once. With just 1 or 2 games at a time it wasn't too bad
 
1) Homerun Battle 3D by far if you use it online to play against other people. I mean like within an hour you will have no battery left.

2) WHERE. After you get out of the app it runs in the background and eats battery horribly. I uninstalled until they add an EXIT button to stop the app when you get out of it. There is no excuse for it running in the background. Yes you can stop it manually by going to "running apps" but who remembers to do that.

Actually for me Angry Birds doesn't seem to eat up that much battery.
 
Robo Defense, Angry Birds, and pretty much any games while the screen is always on. As for non-game apps, I haven't noticed any bad ones...yet!
 
nes and snes emulators.

OH and I disagree on the blur thing. I don't think the stock rom really is that hard on the battery. I never see huge differences between roms. but that's just me
