Battery Compatibily

I searched and didn't come up with anything, so I thought I would ask..

I just ordered my Thunderbolt this morning, my current phone is the Incredible.. I have an extra battery for my Incredible, I am wondering if it is the same or will I need to order another one? I always like to keep an extra battery for when I am traveling.

Sadly, it is different. Someone on this board told me a couple of days ago that the Bolt battery is the same as the my touch 2...if my memory serves me.

I have an 1800 mAh extended battery for my Inc and it's compatable with the My Touch and the EVO. I'm still flip flopping on getting the bolt, but I don't see why this battery wouldn't work in it.

While I haven't tried physically putting my Inc battery into my Bolt, I believe it is not even the same shape. I could be wrong.

Not really a greedy move more of a design issue, the battery needed to be shorter.

No? They just designed the phone to use that battery.. I guarantee they were not like "Lets make a new battery so people cant use their other ones.."

Lmao.. I joined when all the hype was up for this phone.. I had about 100 post a day until I got bored..

Thanks for all of the responses.

I see that the myTouch 4g's battery is compatible. Are there any others? It helps when searching as not many places have the Thunderbolt batteries in yet.
