Help Battery cover "HTC" logo

Just two days of owning my shiny new Z, the silver "h" logo sticker on the battery cover got lost somehow. And it even left a scratch going up to where the camera lens is (no damage to the lens, thank goodness). This seems to be a common problem. Needless to say, the brushed aluminum surface is easily scratched. So my advice to anyone who wants to retain their phone's pristine condition, put a suitably sized screen protector on the battery cover. The cheap kind will do. That should prevent the logos from escaping and provides a bit of a barrier to protect the aluminum finish.

This phone ain't cheap, still, HTC skimped on a proper adhesive to keep the logos from falling off.

Good tip.

I actually did this with a leftover Clear Armor body protector from my Hero, simply to give a bit more grip when using the slideout kb on smooth surfaces.

Arghh! The "t" just snagged my phone holster. Removed it and only the sticker for the "c" remains. I have half a mind to remove it as well. The phone doesn't look half bad without them anyway. I just have to clean up the residual adhesive.

I wanted to protect my (then new) phone so bad, I spent an hour making a DIY checkered protecting layer for the metal panel. Now it wows most people and I'll renew it soon. Never did much DIY before though BTW.
