Accessories Battery Cover Problems?

Hello all

Obviously I am new to the Android system and the EVO since this is my first post. I absolutely love both so far but like most I am less than satisfied with the battery life. I don't want to make my phone thicker so I ordered a couple extra batteries to carry as backups. My question though, after removing the back panel of my EVO the tabs don't feel or look like they would hold up to being removed and replaced very often. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm afraid that if I change the battery out very often the tabs on the back might break off.

experiences? advice?

Thanks

No problems here either. The good thing is that oem battery covers are pretty easy to get these days should you have an issue.

I ordered the extra batteries that are thicker and one problem I have is they don't fit quite tightly and my phone turns itself off. I went to several forums and some others have said it is because the cover doesn't fit tight enough. It is an embarrassing problem when you are on a business call and the call gets dropped. Anyone else experience this?

I've noticed the aftermarket doors don't fit as well as stock...not that the stock fits perfect either. I've taken my door off a lot and no problems.

Thanks guys. That makes me feel better about the whole thing.

Another thing... After reading on here about how many of the batteries on ebay lie about the mah I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the seller that I got mine from? They were listed at 1500 mah and I'm wondering if I made a mistake and should have gotten the 1800 or 2000 mah.

Has anyone used anything sold by "tuttoit?"

Here is what I ordered:
3X 1500mah Battery+Wall Charger For Sprint HTC Evo 4G - eBay (item 250718129821 end time Jan-26-11 01:31:32 PST)
http://myworld.ebay.com/tuttoit/

Has anyone used this... uh... brand? (for lack of better words)

Thanks again,
SteeloC15

Dennis, try wrapping a piece of electrical tape around the battery (the sides, not the contacts) and see if that gives it a tighter fit.
