Root Battery Drain

Question, I recently went from 2.2 to 2.3 (.596) have tried Apex 2.0 and lexlite4.6 ive experienced much faster battery drayn then when I was running 2.2 and apex1.4.1 is there programs I should not install that could be causeing the drain?

Granted there could be some app that is draining your battery faster, but the 'problem' lies within GB itself. It is a bit more of a battery hog.

Give it some time before making any final decisions on battery life. It takes time for it to build up caches and get settled in.

Recalibrate battery and don't touch the phone unless absolutely necisary

I have an eris that I left on not touching it and it has incredable battery life it is running green rom project. I didn't expect the same battery life on an eris as I have on apex

Also, GingerBlur drained faster than Froyo IMO. Apex 1.4 battery life was significantly better than Apex 2.0 (which is still miles ahead of Stock Blur).

Settings, Applications, Battery Use, see whats eating your battery first

I suggest you use the battery calibration app from the Market and then give it a few days to see if you battery life improves.

My sensor usage is extremly high, and dialer along with android system are using way to much sensor
