Agreed about the drain on the battery and signal strength see my previous message a few days back but he also said that his Android is running at 105+ degrees at idle. That is very hot. My phone runs at 85 degrees at idle even when the signal is poor.

The threads on this site beg to differ. I won't even mention the people around me having the same reboot issues. No, this model has issues. As for the new LG coming out, I think I'm just gonna upgrade my DROID X on Verizon and not expect anything from this one. I only got it because of I am a low talk - high data user, and Boosts unlimited plan works for me.
Since you're a low minute high data user why don't you try virgin mobile and their phones? They are unlimited data but low minutes like 300 a month or something but their monthly rate is lower than boost's. I don't know if any of their phones are any good though.

today i returned my first warp i do a exchange for other warp. i think is a hardware issue because mine first warp stop read the microsd , sometime don't recive txt and calls and last ting is reboot 4 timesHope it resolves the issue or if you are returning it that you get a phone that works more consistently.
Really not trying to convince you about this phone, I believe that your mind is made up and that is cool. You should go with the phone you like. But I really beleive that you have a hardware issue. I think your phone is faulty and needs to be replaced. As stated my phone is not acting the way yours does nor do the five people I personally know that have this phone. You mentioned that there are many problems with this phone but I would like to point out two things. 1. If you go and look at any phone on this website you will see just as many problems if not more with a majority of the phones out there. 2. These sites attract people that have problems with their phones or who want to learn more about their phones. So by nature you get the minority insight on this board.(i.e techies and their phones, and the defective phones and their unfortunate owners). Case in point out of the 50 people working at my company (which is a tech company) most of which have Android or I-phones I am the only one that has rooted his phone. My point is that there will be a higher concentration of problems listed on this site than what would normally be seen. Thousands and thousands of these phones have been sold and only about 20 (if that much) people have complained about their phones having problems like yours. Most complaints for this phone have been inconveniences that need to be addressed but are not serious. Serious issues like yours are a very low %. Does not make your issues any less real but also does not mean that the phone as a whole needs to be written off when so many people are not having issues. If the Warp was in general as bad as the phone you received then we would see hundred and hundreds if not thousands of complaints about your issues. Instead we get maybe a hundred or so complaints about the phone shutting down or rebooting every so often. Not fun but not earth shattering or really odd when it comes to Android phones.
I am having the exact same problem with my fon. The 1st warp i picked up in november worked great. Until, the screen went black and didn't come back on that is. The one I have now has pathetic battery life. Removed all apps and reset fon and the isssue is still there. Im thinking the bug is with the fon and not the apps cuz my 1st one was phenomenal on battery life. Maybe if I complain enough, ZTE will shoot me a new one. I'll keep you posted.
.I'm going to get the name & address of their vp of customer/consumer relations and shoot them a letter myself. I've done so in the past with other products, and have had success resolving the issue. I am not one to spend my hard earned money on a product, and have it to not perform at least half a**. I have found that when you contact upper executives, they do mostly respond favorably.
Thats not a bad idea. I"ve only been with Boost for 7 months and am already down to $40 by being a pain in da ass on the phone and on their customer service website. If you speak to a rep. make sure u get a name/employee # and air them out via the customer service tab on the site if their customer service skills suck, or give them kudos if they deserve it. Their reps see all notes on your account and are much more helpful when they know they will be held accountable. I've used it 3 times and get a call back within 24 hrs each time.
In doing a lil research it seems like the problem is with the Gingerbread OTA. Below is a link I came across. Phone works better now. Hopefully a new battery will help even more.

ZTE as you know is a Chinese company. So I would not expect getting much help if you have to go to higher exec outside the country. But good luck.
