Help Battery from 100% to dead in 4 hrs

So, I was proud of my battery having lasted me close to 16 hrs yesterday.
This morning, as a part of my daily routine of exploring appbrain, I installed astro and Weather Forecast&Clock Widget

.

I got busy with meetings and got back to my phone after 3 hrs to find it at 25% charge. Within the next few mins. it went to 0% and now dead.

I didn't have time to see if the google sync was causing this....

Have any of you had a problem with these two apps hogging battery ??
Or thoughts on other possibilities ??

No, nothing on those two apps, but you are on the right track as far as looking for a rogue app...

I would download Spare Parts from the market to see what is keeping it awake!

Ok, I think this is the app I was having issues with (Fancy widget). It was running the cpu at full load constantly. Install SystemPanelLite Task Manager v1.0.3 Application for Android | Tools and see if it's using a lot of cpu.

I just went from 100 to dead in 1.5 hrs. Auto syncing, and gps turned on. Linked all my fbook contacts and was using mp3, it multi task like no other, but my battery is terrible, I carry my charger everywhere, lol. I still love my BEAST INC tho.

If u already have Astro installed, use it to see what's hogging CPU. Should be an easy find at that rate of drain.
