Battery is finally working well!

Have you let it run down to 0 several times and recharged it back to full? A number of people have noticed marked improvement after that. :)

I took the charger off this morning at 6:00am. 4 hours later, I'm at 97%. I quit using SetCPU. It seemed to be causing a lot of problems for me. Even getting the phone very warm.

I was setting SetCPU to conservative.

setCPU didnt really help me.

My battery lasted around 45 hours with moderate usage during the two days.

yea that's true. Mine was horrible at first. Would only last from 7am to about 2pm.

I then started letting it give me the notice to plug in, and left it charging until the diaglog box popped up saying it was fully charged.

Now I start my day at 7am, and my Cappy will last until about Midnight, and I use the living crap out of it.

yeah! I've been running off of a full charge since 8:00 am yesterday... 25.5 hours. My first day lasted about 10 hours.

I'm at 20 hours and have been messing with it pretty heavily since I posted this thread, and it's at like 29%, I'm going to drain it 100% before I put it on the charger. I think 20 hours is awesome and totally acceptable.

My battery is awesome after a shaky start. As a matter of fact, it's so long-lasting now that I think it's broken. I'm thinking of taking it back.;)

I've cycled my battery several times. I think the 'charged, unplug phone' is set to sensitive. I found that when I was getting that message, I would go to the Status menu and watch it when I unplug the charger. The battery would show 100% and say charged, unplug the charger and it would go down to 96%. Plug it back in and it would charge for another 30 minutes before it said it was fully charged.
Last Friday I turned the phone off and left the charger plugged in for ~12 hours. Since then I've only charged the phone 1 time, getting around 1 day 12 hours usage. Right now it's sitting at 25% with 17 hours unplugged.

Edit: That should be 25% in 29 hours. I guess public education is catching up to me ;)
BTW, it is still at 25% since my original post 37 minutes ago.

Mine has been off charger for 15 hours and I have 75% left.

Depending on use i have lately been averaging 2 days on a charge!!

I am running Sleepy battery and Advanced Task Killer and I think they are responsible. Now if I could get the browser performance better.

I'll do a few more power cycles, because at this point (just picked it up last thurs) battery life is abysmal. Not even 6 hours of moderate use & it's cooked.
BTW, I checked what's using my battery and the display is 60%! I do have it set to low using the power management widget's brightness setting. WTF?

This makes no sense to me. I used to get about 6 hours (which is not uncommon), and then I turned off live wallpaper and now get 12 hours (which is also extremely common).

All you getting 20, 30, 40+ hours confuse me.

Sometimes the display gets stuck. I don't know how it happens. Mine was getting great battery life. Then today I was gone all day and left it at the counter by mistake, so essentially I have the thing in standby for 15 hours since I unplugged it, and the display is off obviously, when I get home I wake it up and it has 7% left and the display is taking 87% of that. With no apps running. With no usage. WTF? I didn't even use it for 15 hours and the display took 87%? This thing is FUBAR'ed.

I stop running live wallpapers. Took it off the charger at 4:15 this morning. Im at 51%. Surfed the web, made some calls, and did some text messages.

Mine ran for around 36 hours because I forgot to charge it, and I'm using live wallpapers. Basic usage - a little browsing, regular email checks and a few phone calls. I was getting battery warnings when I left work. I fired up SiriusXM for the 20 min drive home and it made it to the charger just fine.

Hours used doesn't mean anything, show us how long the display has been on, how long its been on standby, idle, etc. Everyones phone can last days if we have like 10 minutes of display
