Yeah it isnt a battery drain problem. Whats happening isnt normal. Its probably imposible for a battery to lose charge like that so it must be about how the phone is detecting voltage

I've never seen mobile network signal showns as black. Are you going into airplane mode or something?
I don't have an update available to me I just checked.I had the same problem this summer. Turned out it was a caused by deferring the OS update - my phone wouldn't go to sleep. I went ahead and accepted the update and it's back to normal. The update works fine too, no problems there.

There...
Beyond frustrating. And flat putrid. But what can I do?
Your drop is coming when the screen is on. Or are you referring to the drop there at the end?
I have to restart when it does that. Hence those. But the line at the end is not a restart its the battery dropping instantly. Did a factory reset so well see how it goes. Those drops there are were the phone has rebooted. I've had that happen to me were it's rebooted and lost 5-10 percent
I didn't see anywhere in this thread. If you mentiond if you have replaced the battery or not. Also, how old is the battery?
Last night my phone also dropped the best part of 30% in the 7 hours overnight when usually I would expect about 5%. Although both phones were purchased at the same time in January we have very different usage patterns so I doubt if it's a mechanical issue. My suspicion would therefore be an update to a pre installed app or similar.
